The Graduate Writing and Research Center (GWRC) at Ohio University is an innovative learning space for graduate and undergraduate students who are working on major writing projects like theses, dissertations, journal articles, creative writing projects, and job search materials. The GWRC staff also welcomes faculty working on articles and other professional materials. We also provide workshops, specific class presentations, online tutoring and other related services to the OU community.
The GWRC opened in January 2013 in Alden 309. While under the umbrella of the Student Writing Centers or SWC on the 2nd floor of Alden, the GWRC was created to better assist students and faculty working on more advanced projects typically over a greater period of time.
The schedule is now available for appointments. Be sure to select the current GWRC schedule from the pulldown option to make an appointment with us. For a regular Student Writing Center Appointment, select the SWC schedule.
